SPECIALISING IN HIGH QUALITY, LOW COST, PUBLIC DOMAIN HISTORICAL FOOTAGE

THE MARCH OF TIME
was a news "magazine" produced by Time Magazine between 1935 & 1951.
The edited stories (which remain under copyright) often had a distinct point of view or bias.

However the outtakes which comprise approximately 400 hours are wide ranging and include much material that never made it into the twice-monthly releases. Coverage was international in scope so many significant world events are included as well as much of America's cities, small towns and Federal Government activities.

Unfortunately the collection also was partially destroyed by the same fire as the Universal Newsreel and particularly hard hit was the period of 1936 to 1938.
