- A large collection of news items from 1949-1950, covering aspects of the cold war and nuclear fear

- Excellent quality footage of the Vietnam War and a range of material relating to 1968, civil rights activities, anti-Vietnam protests

- 'Soundies' - three-minute films originally viewed in juke-box machines in the late 1940s and 1950s with musical dance performed by American vaudeville and cabaret acts of the 1940s & 1950s
