Letter being typed re Cooper looking forward to seeing his family again.  Cooper out of helicopter in Hawaii and mobbed by reporters. Hawaiian hula dancers. Cooper and wife in motorcade. Cooper cheered.

French Troops Returning To France From Indo-china, Hickam AFB, Hawaii
Red Cross hostesses serve refreshments to Frenchmen wearing lei.  Plane brings in wounded.  Frenchmen, including the wounded, are greeted by hula girls and decorated with leis as they come off plane.  One man is very happy and dances with a group of hula girls.  American officers and an official greet the man.  Litter cases are put into ambo-bus.  An old woman on the field talks to Frenchman in bus.  Buses with the Frenchmen aboard leave the airfield.
